Single Harvest Tawny
Single Harvest Tawny

One of the classic Vintage years of the twentieth century, marked by superb balance and finesse.

About
1994 was an outstanding year in the Douro. Besides the exceptional lots chosen for bottling
as Vintage Port, Peter Symington selected other outstanding wines and earmarked them for long term ageing in seasoned oak casks. Peter’s son, Charles, helped him choose the wines for ageing, and he has accompanied these wines over their 23-year journey at the Graham’s Lodge.

Tasting
Rose petal, oriental spice and toasted honey, overlaid by sweet balsamic & dried fig aromatics. Full bodied, still with fresh blue & black berry flavours. Delicate toasted coffee finish. Beautifully fresh, very intense & lingering flavours. Shows superb structure, balance and finesse.

Serving
It is recommended that the wine be served lightly chilled to enjoy it at its best. Once open, the wine will keep in good condition for up to 8 weeks.
